Message from the Executive Director
On behalf of our employees, healthcare
staff, volunteers and the Board of Directors of Choice Medicine- Hwy
53 Medical Center, I welcome you to our website. We hope that you'll
find our website informative and exciting. We, at Choice Medicine,
seek to improve the healthcare experience of our patients and their
families daily. We are the only nonprofit healthcare center located
in Toney Alabama established to improve access to affordable quality
healthcare.
Since 2006, the Hwy 53 Medical Center has been improving the health
of North Alabamians. We seek to continue improving services daily
and hope to provide more services to the community in the near
future.
Our doctors and dentists are compassionate about their
service. Each one has been selected based on merit, their true love
of the craft, and their thirst to improve the current deficiency in
our healthcare system. Moreover, Choice Medicine was created to fill
this void which has left almost 50 million people without
healthcare. It is our highest goal to improve the quality of life
for each patient we serve.
We hope the website gives you a glimpse of what you can expect from
Choice Medicine. We will be bringing more services closer to home.
In the months to come, please stay tuned and check our website
periodically because we will offer some affordable healthcare
options for the family.
Not only do we provide vital community health services, but we try
to give back to the community through donations and discounted
services. We have worked with CASA, the American Cancer Society and
a number of centers of educational excellence to educate and serve
our community as it relates to disease prevention. We also mentor
aspiring healthcare workers to be competent, caring practitioners in
patient care and management. We are helping to educate a “new era”
of healthcare worker and we welcome the opportunity. And most
importantly, we also advocate for our patient’s rights and we hold
their care to the highest standard.
Once again, I would like to invite you to visit our new facility and
offer our state-of-the art medical and dental services. We seek to
be a leader in providing compassionate healthcare and I think that
you will agree you made the right Choice with Choice Medicine. When
