Theresa Thomas Calhoun is a Board Certified (CRNP) Family Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate healthcare services through effective diagnosis, prescribing and treatment of various illnesses. Theresa is a graduate of Samford University, where she earned a Master’s of Nursing degree, the University of Alabama, Huntsville where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and Calhoun State College where she received her ADN/RN degree. She is presently pursuing her Doctorate degree in Medicine. She has a depth of clinical experience, including than 15 years of surgical and cardiac unit patient care and documentation. She also spent some of her time at Huntsville Hospital as a surgical unit charge nurse.  Also, while at Huntsville Hospital she planned and conducted staff in-services and was recognized for providing efficient, personalized patient care.  During her tenure at Central North Alabama Health Care, she was recognized as exceeding the clinic’s monthly and annual performance goals regarding patient care.  Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to treating illness while stressing preventative medicine. Her professional goal is to promote healthy living and to decrease the occurrence of known preventable illnesses that can decrease the quality of life. She is now accepting patient.
